FLGA Skill Certificate Reward Program Each gymnast will receive a poster to bring home listing the skills that will be the focus of this level. This poster will match a skill card that will be kept in the office at the gym. In order to show mastery of a given skill, the student must perform the skill three times in a row correctly. The instructor will mark the student’s skill card indicating they have mastered the given skill. (They can then mark the skill on their poster at home.) Once the gymnast masters all of the skills on a particular event they will receive a ribbon that can be placed on their poster. After a student receives a ribbon for every event, he or she will be awarded a certificate and a photograph will be taken (by the gym) of the student. This photo can also be placed on the poster. Once the student receives their certificate they will be ready to move up to the next level class in the following session. The posters will be given to all enrolled students FREE OF CHARGE! Our hope is that these posters will allow parents to get very involved in their child’s gymnastics education. We want the parents to share in the excitement and progress of each child.
